Animation - work diary

I decided to re-do my animation technique because I feel that the first attempt wasn't as good as it could've been. I decided to do the technique during some personal shoots so it made them more interesting and more varied. The animations that I did were created during my flower shoot and sellotape baby shoot. I decided to do them during this specific shoot because I thought that the use of different colours worked really well as an animation. Overall, I think that the animationS came out really well and looked creative. The fact that there were a number of shots meant that I could play around with how many I used and how many I wanted to put in each individual animation. Overall, I am pleasure with the outcome of both of the animations as they are completely different from one another but work really well on their own.

I decided on using bright bunches because they would look more interesting and stand out better. i like the speed of the animation as I think that it isn't too fast and isn't slow enough to become boring. The animation is at a speed where is it going quick enough to draw the attention of the viewer while allowing them to see the pot being filled up.

I decided to place the baby on a bench and take a series of different photographs as the public passed by. I then went onto Photoshop and put the individual photographs together to create an animation. The animation consisted of 4 shots that when put together appear to look as if time is passing. I really like this animation because it is simple but looks really good with the baby on the left as if it is watching people as they walk past.
