Animation - work diary
I decided to re-do my animation technique because I feel that the first attempt wasn't as good as it could've been. I decided to do the technique during some personal shoots so it made them more interesting and more varied. The animations that I did were created during my flower shoot and sellotape baby shoot. I decided to do them during this specific shoot because I thought that the use of different colours worked really well as an animation. Overall, I think that the animationS came out really well and looked creative. The fact that there were a number of shots meant that I could play around with how many I used and how many I wanted to put in each individual animation. Overall, I am pleasure with the outcome of both of the animations as they are completely different from one another but work really well on their own.
This animation consisted of placing each individual sets of colours in a pot one by one and taking a photograph during each step. I decided on using bright bunches because they would look more interesting and stand out better. i like the speed of the animation as I think that it isn't too fast and isn't slow enough to become boring. The animation is at a speed where is it going quick enough to draw the attention of the viewer while allowing them to see the pot being filled up.
The second animation was completed during my sellotape baby shoot in which I made a baby out of sellotape and placed it around. I decided to place the baby on a bench and take a series of different photographs as the public passed by. I then went onto Photoshop and put the individual photographs together to create an animation. The animation consisted of 4 shots that when put together appear to look as if time is passing. I really like this animation because it is simple but looks really good with the baby on the left as if it is watching people as they walk past.
