Multiple exposure - work diary

I think that this shoot was interesting to complete as it was not something I had previously done/experimented with. I think that it was quite difficult to capture multiple exposure in a way that made the photograph look effective. I think that it definitely challenged my perspective and perception and encouraged me to go outside my comfort zone. I didn't particularly like this technique as much as some of the previous ones we had completed but I attempted it regardless.

I think that this is one of my best photographs from the shoot because I like the fact that the flower is positioned on the model's face and therefore makes it look more distinctive. I like the contrast of the flower and the model as it makes the photograph have a prettier outcome (prettification). I also like the way I have used the space within the model's shot because it isn't too full on and therefore makes it stand out better.

I think that this photograph is one of my worst from this specific shoot. I think that it isn't a good photograph because you cannot tell what is happening within the photograph. You can not make out what either of the two photographs are and therefore it doesn't really show the aim of the task. If I were to re-do this photograph, I would make sure that the two photographs contrast more effectively to make a better outcome.
If I were to develop this technique further, I would research more into multiple exposure and look at previous photographs that people have attempted in order to see which types of multiple exposure work well and which types do not show the technique well - in order to help me re-shoot.
