Blurring - image bank

This photograph uses blurring in order to capture the movement of the person's face. Within this shot, we see a simple black background which has been used to show a contrast in the colour of the face to the colour of the background. By doing this is makes them stand out better.  I think that this works really well because it captures the attention of the audience. The movement of the face demonstrates blurring really well as their face isn't 100% in focus.

This photograph uses blurring in order to capture the movement of a small sports car. The blurring is seen in the background of the shot in order for the car to be in focus. I think that this photograph is really good in terms of blurring due to the fact that it captures exactly what is needed. The fact that you cannot make out what the sign says in the background furthermore proves this.

Within this photograph we can see what appears to be a set of escalators. The escalator closest to the lense is slightly more in focus than the escalator to the left of the shot. We know this because the people are blurred. This photograph uses little blurring but makes the shot look effective because it blurs the lighting and people within it. I think that it works really well in terms of blurring.

Within the photograph we can roughly make out the outline of a woman. This shot uses blurring really well as it is difficult for the audience to make out exactly what is going on within the photograph. I like the fact that the model's face and her facial expression can be seen even though it's fairly blurred. I think that the photograph works really well in black and white and therefore encourages the blurring within the shot.

Within this photograph, we can see a female cyclist who is cycling towards the left hand side of the shot. We can tell the photograph uses blurring due to the appearance of the surrounding people and buildings. They are all not in focus and therefore they contrast against the woman on her bike. I think that this photograph looks really good in terms of blurring.

Within this photograph, we can see a skyline picture of a group of buildings. We can tell that it uses blurring because of the way the buildings look. The fact that they're not in focus indicates that the technique 'blurring' has been used. I think that this photograph is really good because it captures a beautiful shot but creates an uncertainty about it due to the use of blurring.
