Within this photograph, we can see a small person who has been created out of sellotape. When we look closely at the small person, we can see he is attached by a small rope to the bent bus sign that can be seen. This has been positioned like this to create the perspective that the small man is pulling the bus sign down. The main part of this photograph (the small man and bus sign) are in focus and sharp compared to the man who is walking past and the bus which are both blurred. This has been done to put the attention of the audience onto the small man and his strength/ability. I think this photograph is good because Mark has used the broken bus stop post to his advantage.

Within this photograph, we have a normal street setting. Within this street setting, there is a 'no entry' sign. We know this because it has been clearly displayed to allow for people in cars to understand that they cannot go through this way. The one thing that is different with this stop sign is that there is a person's body attached to the sign itself. Mark has captured a photograph that uses the shape/outline of someone's body to create unique street art/photography. The figure has got no head and therefore the area in which the head would normally be has been replaced by the 'no entry' sign. In the background, we can also see a passerby who is looking directly at the street art.
Within this photograph, we can see a rubbish collector doing his job by sweeping up all the rubbish that can be seen on the ground. Behind him in the background is the vehicle that he uses to get around and clean the streets. The only difference with this photograph is that there is a subject's legs standing close to the rubbish collector. We can only see the legs of the subject due to the fact that the rest of them is covered in individual pieces of rubbish. By looking at the selection that has been used, it is clear that the figure is covered in bottles and recycling items rather than non-recyclables.
Within this photograph, we see a section in which there are spaces available for bikes to be placed. We can tell from this shot that the spaces have been filled with bikes. Although this is normal, we see something slightly different appearing in that space. The back wheels of the three bikes closest to the lens are raised up. This is due to the fact that there is a figure that has bee placed underneath. The figure is wearing a white jumper, beige jeans and black socks. It is seen the be facing downwards so the face and skin cannot be seen. This is due to the fact that it is not actually a person but rather just purely a figure who has been placed underneath the wheels of the bikes.
Within this photograph, we see a shot of a tall and fairly narrow walkway/alley. By looking into it, we can tell that there is little inside it because of the lack of light within the area. The only difference with this alley is that there is a figure who is seen to be in the entrance of the alley. The figure is in the air and is positioned horizontally across the alley itself. Mark has decided to put this figure here because it is different and not commonly associated with alleys in the streets. The figure has a light grey jumper and black/grey jeans on in order to contrast the darkness of the inside of the alley. This therefore makes the figure stand out better and therefore makes the photograph more effective.
Within this photograph, we can two lots of legs. Although Mark Jenkins is known for his street photography, this photograph is different because it is inside a room. The difference with the legs is that they're both connected at the hips to one another. Both of their legs are identical in the fact that they're both wearing the exact same styled jeans and the exact same pair of shoes. The way that they're connected is at the hips by a piece of red clothing.
Within this photograph, we see a telephone post that is in the street and allows for passer-bys to use the telephone if they want too. The only difference with this telephone post is that the telephone that is connected to the post is gigantic in comparison to the post. When looking closely at it, we can also tell that it's made out of sellotape. This is something that Mark Jenkins does a lot of. I think that this photograph is really good because it's different and the telephone is creatively thought about.
Within this photograph, we can see a street shot of a path. On this path is a black and yellow cone - which is sitting near the curb. To the left of the shot, we can see a figure who is dressed in all black. He is seen to be wearing the black and yellow cone on his head which is identical to the one on the side of the path. This is different as it is not something you tend to see in everyday life. I like this photograph due to the fact that the figure is leaning onto the side of the building and the top of the cone is touching the building. The shadow that can be seen also gives the photograph a different look.
Within this photograph, we can see a shot of the side of the building. Along the centre third of the shot we can see two separate drains that run from the top of the shot to the path which is seen at the bottom. We can see that the drain to the left is bent slightly any changes direction. At the very end of the two drains, we can see two feet hanging out. The feet have been placed just inside of the start of the drain but has been made to look like the legs continue up the different drains. I think that this photograph is really good because it is something that is quite simple but encourages the audience to give their own perspective on what is happening within the shot and allows them to question how far the feet go into the drains.
Within this photograph, we can see a lamppost that has is in the process of being painted. The person who is painting the lamppost also appears to be in all white. He is wearing a white hoodie, white trousers and white shoes. Any body parts that are on show have also been covered up in white. A section of the floor that the person is standing on is also painted white. This has been done to indicate that the person is starting to paint the area/street in a white colour. I think this photograph due to the fact that you automatically think that he has painted everything white purely because he is in a white colour. I think that this works really well against the darker floor in the background.
Within this photograph, we see a bicycle that is has been made in the style of a taxi. The taxi bike is being rode down the road in a street surrounding. When looking at this specific shot, we see a man waving for the taxi to stop for him. The only difference with this person is that he is made out of sellotape. This man therefore remains there the entire time and taxis go past him and look at him due to the fact that they're puzzled as to who it is and why they're standing there asking for them.
Within this photograph, we can see a sellotape figure of a young person sitting on the side of the curb in a street. The figure is seen to be holding something in their hands but it is hard to make out easily what it is. By looking at it, it appears to be some kind of ball - maybe a football. This therefore makes you think that the young figure is a boy who is holding a ball because he wants to play with someone and because he has no one, he has decided to sit on the curb instead.
Within this photograph, we can see a street shot of a roundabout. On the path of the roundabout, there are two figures that can be seen to be leaning on one another. The two figures are blonde and leaning on each other's heads. Their hands are placed in their jumpers and they're on their tiptoes. This photograph is good because it uses strength to indicate that the two figures are leaning against each other.
Within this photograph, we can see a shot of the side of a shop window. Within this shop window, we can see a mannequin that is clearly female due to the outfit that she is wearing - a dress. Outside of the shop a male mannequin has been placed kneeling on the floor, facing the mannequin in the shop. Within the background there are a group of girls who can be seen looking at the strange man who is kneeling on the floor. I think that Mark Jenkins has done a really good job in the fact that he has used what ever resources he has around him (the mannequin in the shop) and has taken advantage of it.
Within this photograph, we can see a figure that is standing against the wall to the left of the shot. The only difference with this figure is that her face is covered with long hair. The figure is wearing a 'hoodie' so that none of her head can be seen and the hair has been placed at the front of the head rather than the back. Within this shot we can also see a passerby who is walking her dog. She is looking directly at the figure and is therefore reacting to it's presence. I think that this photograph is something that I would like to do because he has captured the reaction of the innocent public.

Within this photograph we can see a shot of a bin that is seen to be within the local street area. The only difference with this street bin is the fact that we can see someone who is seen to be sitting on it. We know that this figure is not real because she wouldn't be able to fit into the bin the way she has. We also know that Mark does a lot of sellotape figures and therefore can tell that he has created a sellotape figured and put clothes and a wig onto the figure and then placed her inside this bin. I think that this is really different because you do not tend to see people squeezing into the bins in the streets and therefore captures the attention of the public.
Within this photograph, we can see a shot of the side of the pavement. Within this shot we can also see a figure that is sitting down against the post and reading a newspaper. The difference with this figure is that he himself is covered in newspaper. This has been done to make the whole situation seem ironic because he is covered in something that he is reading. I think that this shot is very ironic and therefore works really well as a photograph. I like the fact that Mark has thought about the shot and has made sure that it is very different - which is common for his type of street photography.
Within this photograph we can see a shot of some water. This shot contains the reflection of the sky and bridge which can be seen outside of the shot. The only difference with this shot is that there is a figure that can be seen laying face down in the water. The figure is wearing everyday clothes and is also attached to a set of seven balloons which are bright and coloured. This has been down to create the attention from the audience. Due to the fact that the balloons are bright, they are eye-catching so therefore draw the attention of the audience onto them. After looking at the balloons the eyes directly go to the figure that can be seen in the water and therefore cause the audience to react to what they can see.
Within this photograph, we can see a shot of the street road. Within this shot we can also see what appears to be a figure laying in a double bed that has been placed on the side of the road - where cars park. The figure is seen to be facing away from the camera and appears to look like a woman who is wearing an red/orange jumper. We can tell that this is a sellotape figure because that is what Mark is known for. The bed sits next to a parked car and has been placed by a parking meter that is on the side of the pavement.
Within this photograph we can see a street act that is begging for money. The street act is a horse has is dressed in all gold. He is seen to be wearing a gold 'hoodie' and trousers and a set of gold shoes of his feet as well as his hands. He is also seen to be wearing a horse mask. There is a pot that has been placed beside him to indicate that he needs some money. Within this shot we can also see a woman who appears to be putting some money into the container. I like this shot because it is quite simple and seen at lot around places but this stands out because there aren't any other street acts present within this street and therefore catches the audience's attention.
Within this photograph we can see the shot of the side of the road. This shot is zoomed in specifically to the drain holes that can be seen in the lower centre of the photograph. We can see that there has been toast placed inside the individual holes of the drain. This has been placed there to indicate that the drain is a toaster. The denotation of this is that there is some toast on in the drain. The connotation is that the drain can be interrupted as a toaster that has made some toast. I like this because I think that it is very creative and is an interesting shot that is very different to the main purpose of what drains are for.
Within this photograph we can see a shot of a figure that is seen to be sitting against a wall. The figure is a sellotape figure and has a blacked out face. This has been done to hide the identity of the figure and therefore creates mystery. Within this photograph we can also seen the bodies of two passersby. The young girl that can be seen walking past is looking at the figure who is seen on the street. This shot therefore captures the reaction of a innocent member of the public. I like this photograph because you can't see the face of the figure and therefore creates mystery within the shot. I also like the fact that the public are part of the shot.
Within the photograph we can see a shot of a figure who is attached to the side of a building. The only difference with this figure is that he is missing a head. The figure is only the body and it has been made to look like his head is inside the wall. Within this photograph we can also see a passerby that is carrying a lamp. The passerby is looking directly at the figure that is in the wall. I think that this photograph is good due to the fact that it has a reaction of a passerby within it and also has an element that is different - the figure's head appears to look like it's in the wall which isn't common.
Within this photograph we can see a shot of a giraffe that is seen to be eating something from a tree. This giraffe is different to other giraffes because it is made out of sellotape. This sellotape giraffe is seen to be eating something from a tree. This giraffe has been placed on a patch of grass that is in the street. This giraffe has been created so that it is a lifelike size of a real giraffe. I think that this photograph is really good due to the fact that the sunlight is shining through the sellotape and therefore makes the giraffe stand out more against the background. I also like the fact that the sellotape has been modeled to look exactly like a giraffe.
Within this photograph we can see a shot of a large fountain. The shot also captures a building in the background and a couple walking by who are looking at the fountain. They are looking at the fountain due to the fact that there is a figure that can be seen to the left of the fountain. The figure is seen to be leaning into the water. The only part of the figure that can be seen is the legs and body. This figure has been placed here to attract the attention of the public as they walk past. In this case, the man and woman who are walking past are looking directly towards what looks like a body. I think that this photograph is good because it captures the reaction of the public as well as capturing something that is different.
