work diary - sequencing

This particular experiment was interesting to do as you had to picture the outcome when taking the photographs to ensure that it would look like a sequence when completed. I think that using someone to create a motion sequence was a good idea as it showed the movement that my model made through the still image. Taking multiple shots as the model moved positions enabled me to then place the individual shots into one photograph to create a motion sequence.

I think that this photograph sequence came out quite well due to the fact that her shadows have been included with each individual shot in order to make it more realistic as a sequence. The overall outcome was really good and although it was quite time consuming, it was defiantly worth the time and effort and it looked like the model was moving even though the image is still. It was quite hard originally to ensure that it looked effective when put together and it was difficult to imagine when taking the photographs but I think that the challenge was really exciting, new and interesting.

I also liked the outcome of this photograph sequence. I tried to recreate the development from the monkey to the human through the use of body posture. I like the fact that the photograph is in black and white because it gives it that older fashioned feel. The only issue with this photograph for me personally is the colour of the model's hair in the far left shot compared to the model's hair in the other shots. Her hair is darker in the first shot and I don't think it works as well because of it.
If I were to develop this shoot further, I would research the different types of sequences in order to have a more varied outcome of photographs. I think that it would help me to become more professional. I also think that researching more about how sequencing is done best on Photoshop to help me great effective photographs.
