Video - work diary

Within this shoot, I decided that I wanted to do something different for this technique. I shot two separate videos that I then edited in Premier Pro. By editing in Premier Pro, it made the videos look more creative due to the fact that I used video effects and transitions along with some music audio. I think that this technique was quite fun because we got to do random videos that didn't have to make sense and therefore had lots of different options that I could take. I ended up videoing myself as I put my bracelets on my left wrist and also videoing myself sending a text to someone. I think that the overall outcome of these videos were quite good because they were not simple as I edited them to look more appealing and eye-catching. I think that using a tripod also worked well because the camera stayed in the same position and did not move while recording so there was no camera movements or shaking.

The first video was my bracelet video. This video was quite long due to the fact that I have a lot of bracelets so it took a while to place them all of my wrist. I think that the overall outcome of this video was quite good because I used a few different effects that worked well including reversing the clip and multiplying it. I think that this worked really well and the final video piece looked interesting and different which was the aim of the video.

The second video was a lot shorter and quite simple. I think that this video was my least favourite from the two that I did. This is due to the fact that there isn't much content and there are a couple of times that I spelt a word wrong so autocorrect appeared. Although there were faults, I think that this video was good when I edited it and added different effects and some music. If I had to re-do this shoot I would try to ensure that I spelt everything correct and that I wrote a little bit more within the video.
